On March 20, 2026, Better Built attended the groundbreaking for the new Carol House of Hope in Pekin, Illinois.

Zobrist Construction was named the general contractor for this important project. The new shelter will double its capacity—from 15 to 30 residents—and expand services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking across Tazewell and Woodford counties.

Better Built was proud to present a donation at the event and support Center for Prevention of Abuse’s mission to provide safety, support, and hope to those in need.
